All house plans offered by House Plans Online LLC are designed to adhere to
nationally recognized building codes that were in effect at the time of their
creation. However, it should be noted that certain states, counties, or
municipalities may modify codes to suit their specific area. As a result, your plan
may necessitate a review by a licensed Architect or Structural Engineer.
We authorize the use of our plans expressly conditioned upon the purchaser’s
obligation and agreement to strictly comply with all applicable codes, ordinances,
regulations, and requirements. The purchaser is responsible for any additional
expenses incurred to comply with local codes and engineering requirements.
Purchaser hereby indemnifies and holds House Plans Online LLC, its principals,
employees, and agents, harmless from any claim, loss, or liability resulting from
the failure of the plans to comply with local zoning laws or regulations or for any
other breach of these Terms and Conditions attributable in whole or in part to
purchaser or its builder.
The purchaser agrees that the plan is intended solely for the construction of one
house and cannot be reproduced in any way without the written consent of the
copyright owner.
Warranty & Disclaimer
The plans, any products licensed or purchased through the House Plans Online
website, and any site-related services, posted or otherwise transmitted on or
through the site are proved on an “as is” and “as available” basis without
warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to,
warranties of title or non-infringement or implied warranties of merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose.
The purchaser of the house plan is responsible for ensuring that the construction of
the building meets all local codes and regulations. The purchaser must obtain any
necessary structural analysis, engineering, and specifications for the building in
the municipality where it will be constructed. House Plans Online LLC is not liable
for any plan interpretation errors or any issues related to the structural integrity
of the building. We do not oversee the construction process nor verify that the
structure is built to the necessary standards.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to thoroughly verify all lot conditions
and measurements prior to commencing construction.
Purchaser understands that plumbing, heating, and air conditioning drawings are not
included in plans due to the wide variety of local codes and climatic conditions.
House Plans Online LLC assumes no responsibility for any errors or omissions in the
contents of these web pages or other documents that are linked to or referenced by
these pages. These documents may contain technical inaccuracies, typographical
errors, or other inaccuracies. House Plans Online LLC is not liable for any errors
or omissions in these documents and reserves the right to make changes to them at
any time.
Copyright
All house plans sold by House Plans Online LLC are strictly protected by U.S.
Copyright Law. Please note that purchasing a full set of plans grants you the right
to build that home only once. However, some plans offer the option for PDF or CAD
file Unlimited Build, which permits multiple constructions of the house plan.
The purchase of a set of house plans in no way transfers any copyright or other
ownership interest in it to the buyer except for a limited license to use that set
of home plans for the construction of a single home. Construction of more than one
home from the plans without permission is an infringement of the designer’s
copyright.
Copyright and licensing of house plans for construction are in place to protect all
parties involved. It respects and supports the intellectual property of the original
architect or designer. Reproducing these house plans, whether in whole or in part,
including any form of copying and/or preparation of derivative works thereof, for
any reason without prior written permission, is strictly prohibited. Violation of
this law may result in statutory damages of up to $150,000 plus attorney fees and
loss of profits.
